Work generally consists of an approximate 7000 sf addition to an existing building that includes a cafeteria, kitchen, classrooms and office space. The new addition will be constructed of concrete masonry unit walls, structural steel framing and a metal panel roof. Interior finishes include VCT flooring, painted walls and suspended ceilings. The exterior walls will have brick veneer attached to the concrete masonry units. The mechanical system is comprised of roof top equipment and concealed and exposed ductwork. Typical plumbing work is included. The electrical scope includes power, lighting, access control, fire alarm system and other low voltage components. The addition will be fully sprinklered as an extension of the existing system. Additional work includes demolition and full renovation of existing bathrooms in another part of the school building.
