Architechnics designed a 34,000 square foot state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center for the Schuyler Industry School district in Rushville, Illinois. The venue has 400 seats and includes a 4000 square foot stage with an orchestra pit. A new band room and chorus room were also included in the design.  The performing arts center is an addition to the existing high school which incorporates a commons area between the theatre and high school. This commons area also serves as the lobby to the theatre.  Project Involved: Planning, New Construction, Additions and Renovations

The theatre is constructed of precast concrete panels while the rest of the exterior is masonry and metal panels. Architechnics teamed with Midwest Construction Professionals (MCP), an area construction manager on this project. Architechnics and MCP collaborate on master-planning, budgeting, scheduling and construction details during the planning phases of the
project. Architechnics is currently providing construction observation and administration. The Performing Arts Center is scheduled for completion in the late summer of 2022.
