Architechnics is the consulting engineer for Poepping, Stone, Bach and Associates providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing system design for a $16 million high school expansion and renovation. Mechanical systems include variable refrigerant flow HVAC systems and energy recovery units designed for fresh air ventilation.
Other mechanical system design includes laboratory fume hood exhaust and emergency ventilation exhaust systems as well as ventilation design for the tornado safe area.
Electrical system design includes a new primary 12,000 V service, emergency generator, power distribution and high-efficiency LED lighting as well as low-voltage fire alarm, telecommunication and data distribution.
Plumbing systems include new domestic water, sanitary sewer and storm drain piping as well as retrofit and replacement of systems in the locker rooms in other areas throughout the building.
