The Washington Theatre, a historic Performing Arts Center and most recently a movie house, is proposed to be transformed into a educational teaching theatre in a joint venture with Quincy University and The City of Quincy. The theatre will be adapted to house an Auditorium, including “Back of House” functions for the university theater, and commercial tenant space. Classrooms, offices, and storage will be located on the second and third floors overlooking the Lobby, Gallery, Atrium.
