The Ralls County R-II School District is constructing a 48,500 square foot facility to replace and centralize its two aging elementary schools at the current high school campus.  The school features student learning in eighteen self-contained classrooms for grades Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5, along with designated Art and Music rooms, two computer labs and a library.   Flexible and versatile large group activities are held in the Cafeteria.  A full size basketball court with a competition wood floor is located in with the Gymnasium along with a raised platform for school assemblies.

The interiors are intended to be long-lasting and maintenance friendly.  Painted concrete block walls and polished colored concrete floors will meet the school’s needs for years to come.  Student safety and security, indirect energy efficient LED lighting, and individual temperature control with a geothermal HVAC system are special features that enhance the educational environment for students at this school.
