In the summer of 2010 and 2011, Architechnics designed a two-phase complete mechanical system replacement for 220,000 square feet of campus facilities. Over 600 tons of air cooled, variable refrigerant, HVAC systems replaced a central chilled water cooling and electric heating inefficient system. High-efficiency energy-recovery, dedicated outside air units provide fresh air ventilation throughout the building. A central building management system provides complete control of the HVAC systems including computer graphical display of the buildings components and temperatures.

High-efficiency lighting throughout including corridor occupancy sensors were installed as part of this project.
